Description

Four years ago the Gateway Ranch hosted a group of local song writers and vocalist to gather in honour of women in music for the first Soul Sisters gathering! This year again nine beautiful women are sharing one stage for the fourth annual 'Lilith Fair" inspired day of music in an open air natural amphitheatre! This yearly event is a tribute to the talented women of BC and our community! Bring your own chair, sunscreen, umbrella shades, snacks, picnic, blanket and refreshments….we supply the music and the breathtaking view!

(Please allow yourself enough time to set-up your space on the grass to enjoy the show).

Parking is roadside and limited…..so, please carpool. Also there is a liability risk, as the land here is mountainous by nature. It's rugged up here at the Gateway and you will need to read and sign a waiver to agree you are prepared to wear proper footwear and act responsibly around animals. It is just so everyone plays and stays safe! Kids are welcome (with an adult guardian), but fur kids must stay at home…just too much going on around the ranch!

Here is what to expect…..

First Set: Kansas Lee, Chloe Davison and Claire Coupland

Kansas Lee has spent over a decade honing her craft as a singer-songwriter, a journey that culminates in her latest studio album, “Ostara”. As a soulful folk songwriter, she’s known for her powerful voice, intricate guitar rhythms, and beautifully potent lyrics that resonate deeply with her audience.

Chloe Davidson, one of Canada’s premiere singer-songwriters, pairs musical virtuosity with disarming human vulnerability. As a solo artist, she brings decades of experience to songs that balance incisive, heartfelt lyricism with lush, cascading swells of harmony.

Claire Copland is a moving songwriter and compelling guitarist, contemporary folk singer songwriter Claire Coupland combines her smooth signature folk finger picking, soaring melodies with a little dose of jazz school changes. Claire Coupland brings a graceful contemporary feel to modern folk music, always with a touch of her wicked sense of humour.

Second Set: Claire Kuzmyk, Kristi Neuman and Yanti

Claire’s Kusmyk’s performances are disarmingly honest - her polished vocals marry sweetly with cutting lyrics and striking candor, bringing light to our most vulnerable human emotions.  Skip therapy; this Canadian up-and-comer has you covered.

Kristi Neuman is a provocative and gifted songwriter who calls the Okanagan her home. Montana born, she carved a name for herself in Nashville and then found her way to Canada. She has talent, she has grit, she has humour, but most of all she has stories woven into well crafted lyrics, contagiously hopeful songs and witty banter.

Yanti is a wise soul with a powerful love for life whose lifelong aspiration has been to build strength, hope and community through the shared human experience of music. Through writing, singing, playing songs  Yanti shares her unique frequency with the world. Yanti believes that the vibrations we emit from our bodies are the best medicine for what ails us.

Third Set: Aidan Mayes, Nevaeh Dyson, Lisa Dunn and  specail guest Ari (accompanying on guitar)

Aidan Mayes embodied the  Lilith spirit, with her (Okanagan born) open heart, soul filled  folk music. Her new album LOVE is vulnerability set to melody. Her musical style is where 90s nostalgia meets open-sky honesty, the  lyrics, joy-seeking anthems set to whimsy, afloat on a soulful voice.

Nevaeh Dyson is a singer-songwriter recognized for her powerful, unflinching folk-rock performances across Canada and the UK. Her music blends dynamic warmth with an edge reminiscent of Brandi Carlile and Bob Dylan. In 2026, she will tour Western Canada and the UK and release her debut EP!

Lisa Dunn commands the attention of audiences with her spellbinding, powerhouse vocals and ability to translate the emotional intention of a song when she sings. Lisa can deliver. She has been compared to some of the greats in pop and R&B including Adele, Amy Winehouse, Etta James, Donna Summer and Roberta Flack.
